Straschill’s involvement with the Music Weeklies Challenge started in September of 2017 for reasons unknown, or rather not remembered.
So what is it?
Every week (formally on Friday 1900 GMT) you get a hashtag that describes a challenge for you to make a piece of music. „You have one week“.
The Outcome
Since then, literally dozens of contributions have been created. Lasting from a secretalbum size to more than half an hour. Usually a solo affair, but for some boss challenges, including up to five people.
There’s a lot of variety four you to enjoy. Or not.
The 2026 Autochallenge
For 2026, I set myself the challenge to bring the number of tracks submitted up to three digits (i.e. at least 100). Sounds a lot? With 88 submissions as of January 11th and typically more than 45 challenges per year, not that much of a challenge.
