Würm Bank

The first proper modular synth album, „Würm Bank“ reveres today’s hero of the modular world, Dieter Doepfer. As part of the RPM challenge.

Noise gets explored. Bass also gets explored. Aggressive Ambient again.

A nod to a pivotal composition from 1992. There is a lot of found sound. And very wintery vibes. And it was part of the RPM challenge.

The „composed era“ at its best. Non-differentiable geometric structures in the music, lots of synths, and the usual stylistic eclecticism.

Electronic sounds. And serial composition.

The only MSSS release to focus on one specific session.

Long after the group Eclectic Blah had folded, finally a recording of their biggest misses.

Rehearsed and recorded during a workshop with an impromptu ensemble, the second #secretalbum already changes pace in the series.

Through-composed music. And no track longer than 90 seconds. That’s the new standard called #secretalbum. And this is the first release.

The second part of this MSSS acoustic piano double album brings back the effects and loops tombfoolery.
