…when you’re busy making other plans.

Today, I wanted to work on the album, but couldn’t get myself going really well. A first idea was to record the trombone parts for a piece entitled Ingehscharf, but tiredness coming with ugly weather kept me from doing so. But at least, I said to myself, I could take the time to browse through my sound libraries for some nice glockenspiel patches.

The short version: the glockenspiel patch I had (from the Kontakt 2 library) sucked, but I found a nice Celeste patch. And then played with it. And added some synth pads. And programmed a super-deep bass sound in Trilogy.

The result? Here it is!

Note about the audio properties: The bass synth sound is mainly a sine wave, and it extends down to low B – which has a frequency of about 31 Hz. For that reason, most playback systems may not be able to reproduce it properly. In fact, on some playback systems, the bass part may not be audible at all.
