Today, I enjoyed what may very well be the last warm day this year – and of course, I worked on Verschluckbare Kleinteile, as I did all week.
This serves as an update to my last post – everything which isn’t mentioned hasn’t changed!
General Things – and Track Order
Mastering (will I do it, or someone else) is not decided upon, but will soon! I hope to get someone to do it.
The track order needs further consideration.
That being said, the track list is now confirmed, including all titles!
Note that, as of now, the playlist in that last post still contains the old versions (as of that post’s date).
Updates:
1. Promenade:
I got the double bass from Todd Matthews (great!) and am still waiting for the guitar from Jan Kühner (and failing that, I already discovered that I’m not able to play it myself). Apart from that small detail, the mix is completed. Status shifts to “confirmed, release candidate”.
3. A Dance Song:
Guido posted the drum parts this Friday, but I only got the link today – and already started to work on it. This mix will be completed the next week (CW40).
4. Ursus Maritimus (was: “Microambient”):
Minor mix changes, and it has found a new title. Status is “confirmed, release candidate”.
7. An Expensive Name for Frozen Water:
I’m really happy with my piano mockup – hence, status changes to “confirmed, release candidate”.
11. Mein Lieblingsmetzger (was: “Orgeldings”):
13. To Your Dunkles (was: “Sachsenbohne”):
15. The Usual Bavarian Approach to Electronics (was: “Klingelton”):
New title for those three above.
16. Wehgetan:
I opted for b) – rerecord. Now I decided I still need a trombone section, and I need to prepare the stuff for Jason.
Status changes to “confirmed, mockup”, a release candidate will not be available before CW41.
