It’s already almost two weeks since I returned from the Kreativurlaub. Since then, I’ve been busy/not busy in several ways. Not in meaningful ones, but I won’t complain because there’s no reason to.

Yes, the album idea I had teased some time ago. Tuesday, I talked to Dominik and Wolfi, the two musicians I had in mind for this, and they both said „great idea“. So that’s moving, albeit still as a moving target, i.e. no schedule or release date. Yet. But a score book with ten tracks.

Yes, I did this already, but now I made a new one.
This one is pretty killer. Maybe I’ll write about it.
Other Things
Due to a SCM mishap (Thomann listed the lead time as „several months“, and to my surprise, it had arrived before I had even returned), I now have a new drum machine as well. Which is pretty rad.
Initial impression? This one is the culmination of all things good – and all things bad – about Roland.
No progress on minmax, but that’s ok because I made huge progress during Kreativurlaub. Still, let’s not get that one stall for being distracted by lots of other things (see above).
My coffee machine broke down once I had returned. I would not have thought it would be possible for me to survive for almost two weeks on green tea and cup-filter coffee alone. This maker and product (DeLonghi Magnifica S) is an utter failure. Steer away from it. Do not buy from them.
Fortunately, the cats weren’t angry with me about my prolonged absence. In fact, our relationship might have intensified. So I leave you with a busy/not busy snapshot that in fact says „nice start of the day“. I’m a lucky man.
